Chase Petroleum Administrator

Some members of the Socio-Economic Committee of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs have paid a visit to Chase Petroleum Company to accustom themselves with work and to cement their relationship. The visit, the second by the chiefs to companies in Tema as part of their “Landlord/Tenant Relationship Building” concept, was led by the Chairman of the Committee, Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI, the Paramount Chief of the Osu Traditional Area.

The Chase Tema Tank Farm Limited is a private petroleum bulk distribution company that refines crude oil for Ghana and for exportation. The committee members were welcomed by the Managing Director, Mr Daniel Amoah who expressed gratitude for the maiden visit by the chiefs. He said the company produces 30 per cent of the Ghana’s refined oil for domestic use and export and that it is currently building a GHC 1.2 billion 120,000 capacity storage facility.

Mr Amoah said another 72,000 cubic metres was also under construction for the storage light crude oil. “Chase Petroleum is rated as the number one oil company in Ghana and Africa,” and that it is well positioned to meet the market needs, he said.
